It’s festival time and we all are excited. We are in the last leg of the year which means the festival season is in full swing and will take some time to last. We are already indulging in some amazing fun around the Indian festivals which means we are busy with shopping, indulging in sinful eating, and getting tired a lot. While you have a great time handling all the festivities and celebrations, it is your body and skin that can catch the stress easily. 

With poor indulgence in food, a lot of sun exposure, and ample of sleepless nights and tiring days, you can wreak havoc on your skin and rip it off the glow. It is reported that dehydration is one of the most common problems during the festive season. If you want to look your best as you doll up for different occasions, you need to work on your skin as well as your body and level up your hydration game. 

What to do? Well, start with drinking plenty of water and taking care of your skin by following a skin routine. There are many important skin lessons in this post that you will find very helpful in managing your body and skin this festive season. 

Drink and eat healthy:

Festival food is a blessing but we hate to admit that it is also something that can harm your skin and body. The oily and excessively sweet preparations during festivals can make your skin struggle. Not to forget, you will get a lot of toxins entering your body and making it home. What helps you the most is drinking plenty of water and sticking to healthy food choices. Having plain water instead of a sugary drink offered at someone’s home is a great way to start. Also, you can always use portion control to ensure you do not eat useless calories and increase your weight as well as disturb your gut. 

Lock the glow:

Moisturize your skin, use serums, and put on sunscreen to protect your glow. You must take up a strict skincare routine and not compromise at any cost. Wash your face twice a day at least and then use branded products. Eating healthy and drinking plenty of water also helps in maintaining the suppleness of the skin.
